QCOM chips in NOK phones does not force any more expensive redesigns on several other vendors any more than NOK chips in NOK phones.

I just want to see NOK CDMA phones for sale in the US, where the true market penetration is in early stages compared to Eu.

Why wouldn't the concept for the best supplier gets the high end business work for covers AND chips, like chips from from QCOM. They are just another supplier from a NOKIA perspective.
