E, it has me giggling still! It is too funny and I'm snickering at my window too. (Great minds?) Because I had so much trouble and so little faith, I had the whole hard drive backed up onto another hard drive. Everything completely mirrored up until a week ago Friday. (And I lived in fear because of that wav file that was making the rounds a while ago of the guy whose hard drive with his life's work on it was erased instead of being backed up. My e-mail could have been rescued for me by my friend at MSFT. But the rest would have been a disaster.) Don't you love it when people say you should just go get another PC? What about the search engines and apps you might lose? What about that directory set up just the way you want it? Harrumph! Of course, I have some friends with whom I exchange humor e-mails who are convinced that the reason I got away with so little expense is the fortune the repair guy will make on what he has copied....
