Ok E, since you're so persistent, I will go through the effort and describe where I felt your decency in responding to someone who was simply wrong was lacking. However, I fully intend this to me my last post on the subject.

Here is the post by PROLIFE which began this episode.
chicagotribune.com

Now, here is two of the three responses you made. My point is, all you had to do was say "Prolife you're wrong" and given the reasons why. However, let's take a look at what you elected to say instead. First of all, (no matter how much you may want to skirt the issue through sophistic language) you called him a liar over and over, and then said... "How vile. How disgusting. How unconscionable. How cruel. How utterly, utterly, creepy of you and your movement."

This is not what I would call a decent response expressing disagreement. We obviously disagree about what constitutes a decent way to say "I believe you're wrong".

The tone of disagreement was set by you from the beginning. As I said, you could have simply said "I believe you're wrong" and given the reasons why. Instead you ELECTED to go on and on calling him a liar and much more.

Therefore, you reap what you sow.

Was the behavior and words used by others after these postings decent? No, I don't believe they all were. And quite possibly, my pointing these posts is not decent. But such is life, and we're all not perfect.

All I can say is I hope I am never wrong about a technical issue while posting on this board. You act like it's a crime or something to be wrong.

Be careful E, it might happen to you sometime in the future. And according to your posts, wrong=liar. Far from it. And I believe any person willing to look at the issue fairly and objectively would agree.
