We agree. Critical thinking is the key. And it's the main reason I thanked E for formulating her argument when she did. I still don't believe it's decent to call someone a liar for being wrong about such a specific point though. So, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. Michael

Lather. This board is for MCCain / Gore bashing. While your magnificent presence is much appreciated, I feel that you are on the wrong side of justice To me, the nothingness guy is the whole problem, and I caused it. If I had a set of rules for fair play like E and his detractors, this board would be nothing but a conflict between me and nihil(sp?). But I think he went overboard in his defense of McCain. I said he was a traitor and he disagreed. I think it can be said that he didn't really disagree, he just doesn't want bush to succeed. Anyway that is past history. Nihil is(was) a tough dude. And if this was a fair fight, I probably would have attempted a little more defense than just let him self destruct. But the problem of privacy arises that causes me concern. E should know about that. While I think my strategy of letting him self destruct was successful, I think it also cost me a lot of SI capital. H is the boards hero, he defeated that devil who has no purpose except to destroy. But there are different opinions on what is a fair fight.To me, any invasion of privacy is unfair. I am expert on computer security and know that any identification of board poster can be had for 5k. I tend to be less aggressive in my defense than I probably should be. H was overtly aggressive, and should have recieved his 3 day ban from posting. And that should have been the end of it. Any fair minded person (and I don't mean blond) should have reported the transgression. There has to be a level playing field. Just because E has surviCed difficult situations does not mean that the rules of this thread are lowered.
