Neocon, if you do not believe that the following "factoid" (bolded for emphasis) is obviously mistaken or incorrect, then we do have a profound difference of opinion. The energy output of the "heart" of a 40-day embryo, 2/3 inch long, is 20% of an adult's cardiac energy output. I agree that PROLIFE could have been posting that in good faith ...initially. But if you are here, now, after all this hard work by all involved, and trying to portray this factoid as "not so incredible" ... I am speechless. Perhaps I am wearing ideological blinders on this one ... but all my internal continuity checks are in the green. Nolo contendere.
