David: Nice work on one of the most insightful posts that I have ever read on an IDX thread. If your analysis is correct, this would seemingly cast I/O as the real heavy in this unfolding event, rather than the usual Macchiavellian suspect, Microsoft. Did you notice that the BioApi consortium made it a point to state that they were pleased with Microsoft's endorsement of "biometric technology" (The industry, not I/O and its API. ---P.S. How do you bold and/or italicize characters?) Do you foresee any injunctions or restraining orders in the near future?
