Dave did not ask for DDR supporters,
he asked for a DDR MOBO.
NAME TWO PLEASE. Actually NAME ANY!

Let's see we have 50 PCs shipping with RDRAM and at last count is that a big goose egg for DDR?
What telecommunication wins does DDR have?
What telecommunication wins does RMBS have. Do some real research for a change but I will give you a head start if you wish: check out www.rambustite.com

Oh where oh where is that AMD board?
Oh where oh where can it be?

All this theory talk about just wait for tbird just wait for DDR, just wait for this, just wait for that.
RAMBUS IS SHIPPING REAL PRODUCT. Seems all the AMD supporters seem to forget that one LITTLE fact!

SUN is using RDRAM in its MAJC servers.
I guess SUN, MOT, DELL, PMCS, VTSS, TXN, etc, etc, are all idiots.

Call the above companies up. They and we obviously NEED YOUR HELP. BTW what are your credentials?

WHEN IS ULTIMATELY???? Gee VIA sounds rather confident - predicting shipment by 4th qtr of the month of ULTIMATELY!
Is that next year, three years from now, or never?
Will it infringe on Rambus patents?

<<DDR?s low cost and low voltage will ultimately make it an ideal solution for all segments of the PC market, high performance desktop and mobile PCs, Value PCs and even Internet Appliances and mobile devices.

VIA is working with a number of the leading memory vendors and standard-setters to create industry wide support for this open standard and bring DDR into the mainstream. Come back frequently to see our DDR updates.>>

milo,

What you posted wasn't a list of companies providing motherboards or systems using DDR DRAM; it was, as the caption said, a list of DDR supporters. That means nothing. Two of the names on the list don't produce anything (Jedec and AMI2). Serverworks is a chipset company.

Face it, no one (except maybe SGI) is shipping DDR-based systems or motherboards in spite of the fact that it's been on the drawing boards as long as RDRAM.

Dave
