Yours is very simplistic analysis to say the least. I suspect you have genuine worries about what McCain-like politicians will do this time around. But the two acts - "deregulation" (which wasn't) and this present reform are very different.

Remember this reform is opposed by the political heirs of those that hatched Social Security, the source of all the problems.

Oh yeah? Thanks to the fraud known as Social Security, today's children face a lifetime tax rate of about 85% or more.

It's a start and the best hope for people digging themselves out of the demographic and financial time bomb left to them by FDR and the Dems. Over the LT the market has always done much better than the lousy returns that today's and future payers are looking at.
