LightPath is jumping through hoops to reckon their books. As I've said many times. . . when any company starts calling in warrants, debentures, convertibles or other notes of obligation. . . it often signals a buyout is imminent.

Suitors don't like the loose ends of promissory notes, warrants or other such instruments. The first of the year, LPTHA called the U units and the W warrants. . .the Z warrants were called this month. . .it appears that this is the last move to clear the books of obligation.

The next step is to set a true valuation for the company. Remember that CSCO wants to purchase about 50 companies over the summer. . . so we need to start picking out the best candidates. LightPath is certainly one.
