Mark: You are absolutely correct that the statements I made are not factual and are not based on any kind of analysis, so I apologize to anyone misled. They are however a reflection of the qualitative impression I have from the press (mostly neutral to negative) following the reorganization announcements, the posts here and on the Palm and Ghost threads, and the feedback I get from my broker, who not only has many people in COMS, but keeps me plugged into how the brokerage community views things. Certainly the sentiment that I hear from my broker is that his clients are holding COMS to get PALM and have no interest in COMS until/unless COMS can show progress with their revamping of the company into non-competitive markets vs. CSCO. The recent analysts recommendations for COMS I have seen are between a "hold" and a "buy", but you can't tell if those ratings are for COMS to get PALM or COMS sans PALM. Your idea of a poll on SI is a neat idea, any idea how that could be set up? David T.
