George, it wouldn't really surprise me either. after all there are 7 billion CSCO shares outstanding...that's a lot. it's probably the most overowned stock of all time in mutual fund portfolios.
i seem to remember that CSCO's accounting has frequently been criticized on various SI threads in the past. so what the Barron's article revealed wasn't really news to most of us. it's interesting though that the market decided to sell the stock on the heels of the article. that speaks of the change in the market's character.
