HB

interesting to say the least...
insightful in many ways...

lt me say this..before i call it a nite...

i just looked at all the major indexs..SPX-OEX-NDX-DOT-SOX-QQQ etc

AND ALL THE MAJOR STOCKS..AMAT-INTC-CSCO-AOL-DELL-MSFT etc etc..

in all the years i've been trading and understanding charting...well, as good as i can anyway..

i have never seen the convergence of so many serious negative charts...actually i am speechless...

imo..this is what a real crash would look like right here and now...amazing revelation...

and i'm using P&F here...not a pretty sight..and for everyone out there that's thinking long..think short term long, like in days...because the bottom is coming very fast and very hard...

this is one unsettling sight even for me...we are at the precipice of disaster...many people will be hurt here...

and where the bottom will be, know one knows..not even me..

later ..OJ

Some major market in the world better find some buyers or it will get ugly. NIKKEI trading at 17586 as I type.

What is interesting at this juncture is that those who are allowing for further downside here in the markets for the most part believe that we will make a double bottom or a 'W" bottom and start to rally. Most gurus and advisers do not present the possibility that we could be going into a bear marekt (admittedly with sharp violent rallies)... but an enduring bear market does not seem to be in the view of most.

When I postulate this among friends, and semi sophisticated investors, they look at me with wonder and say, "Susan, Have you lost it? Where else is money going to go?" The belief is that we are awash in a sea of liquidity and that money must by its very nature find its way into stocks.

Unfortunately, I don't know where this liquid sea of money will go, but the point is that this bear trend is thought to be a brief event even by those who acknowledge that the market is currently trending lower. No one that I speak with could conceive of the possibilityof a multi year bear market. It's sacrilege and impolite to even imagine such.
