ZO,

I stated what I heard - please don't spin it. CSCO said that the ATM/IP switches are the switches that will be used in the new deployments at WCOM and that current run rates are $4B. I said nothing of, nor did I imply anything about other networks.

OH... ZO,

FWIW ATM based DSLAM's are counted as a separate category from ATM/IP equipment at CSCO I believe. I know NN probably does it different but I'm pretty sure that CSCO reports these discretely.

You are right though.. At a $4B run rate CSCO may not the market leader (I don't think - remember CSCO has the enterprise market and this will help the numbers).. What are the market shares and total market $ at the last report? I don't recall the total market being more that $10B.. in fact I remember it being a lot less than that. I'll check the research tomorrow.
