Are you talking about Alina Castro? I am not defending Castro nor socialism, but I do ask for fairness and I think you are picking and choosing your quotes and your people to further your own belief. It seems that other of Castro's children reside in Cuba still quite happily- after living in Mexico, America and Cuba. There was a nasty custody battle over Fidelito, the oldest son, who was taken by his mother, retaken by his father, kidnapped by his mother, taken again by his father..... Later Fidelito would be sent to the Soviet Union where he studied to be a physicist and married a Russian. He went on to become the head of Cuba's nuclear power program. Today, a businessman, he lives with his second wife and three children in Havana. By all reports, he is said to be a doting father. Diaz-Balart lives in Spain, but visits her son and his family often in Havana. She has never spoken publicly about her former husband, but according to close friends, their relationship is said to be amicable. His illegitimate and ignored daughter, Alina Fernandez, also fled the island and periodically lashes out at her father. It appears that Castro has done far better with his sons, including the five he has raised with his wife of 35 years, Dalia Soto del Valle, who hails from the port city of Trinidad and rarely appears in public with him--and who has seen her own extended family torn along the same ideological divide. To use the argument "you can't understand" is effectively shutting down any further exchange. E.g., you can't understand what it is to be a woman- how it feels to read the garbage you posted and then deleted last night about "a woman's place is in the home", or "a woman doesn't deserve the right to vote- sign this petition and ban the 19th amendment". You can't understand what it is to bear a child, to nurse one at your breast, and it would seem you haven't the experience of being a father either. So how can you understand anything about Juan Gonzales and his son? If you allow an embittered illegitimate daughter to determine the end of the exchange by declaring us incapable of understanding the reality of socialism, then you must also allow us parents to assert that you, too, are without comprehension of the bonds of parent and child.
