Ignorance, especially when it is "set in stone", is extremely difficult to deal with, and simple facts do not seem to bother or change many of the ignorant ones in the least

After my first five posts on this thread, I realized that my opponents were "invincibly ignorant" and all of my posts since then have been geared for lurkers who are unsure of the facts.
