Now that's a well-presented site. As always, I have quite a few disagreements, especially in her description of them as "Worst Songs" rather that "Worst Recordings". "Proud Mary" and "Mr. Tambourine Man" are not bad songs, regardless of what Leonard Nimoy or William Shatner do to them.

And I'm surprised to see Capt. Hook on these lists. I always thought his songs were parodies of bad music so I found them entertaining at the worst.

I suppose no one can put together a 100 Best or Worst List without sparking some dissent, but it was good to see a few bubble gum tunes included.

Her husband's list is also interesting, but awfully heavy on music from the mid-70's on, and I've always been of the opinion that almost all of the great rock/pop songs had been created by 1973, and most of the best stuff after that was derivative.

And I thought I was cynical, but the description of Lady Di (IMO not a particularly heroic individual) as "the poor little rich girl who was too drunk to fasten her own seat belt." is a bit harsh.

Richard,

It is amazing there are so many similarities - I guess that says something. Now if I could just get my real audio to work I could hear the "Sex-O--Lettes".

I'm surprised "Hanky Panky" wasn't mentioned on either or "Walking My Cat Named Dog" also. Both have always made me cringe.
