and well he should since he invented the internet... I too find that Al Gore was amazing in his ability to recognize the importance of this global communication force years before others. I suppose if the republicans had their way they would have seen it as a playtoy for college students and eliminated the funding so that all americans could get a 33 cent tax cut. Not only was Gore instrumental in transforming the arpanet into the internet, he was by that action one of the founders of this great bull market we have enjoyed. TP
