Gpowell, let me run this by you: Does the Comcast "rumor" of a stock flip change anything except ownership of the stock?

There is no doubt in my mind that yesterday's run to $28 was for the most part a short covering rally. Thoughts?

someone has to educate the investing public of the potential value in ATHM

I'd say we are starting to look like a safe place to hide, considering even the big safe techs are getting hair cuts in this correction.

Unless of course you think that the cable companies are going away and people are turning away from their computers and the Internet. I can see it now, people turning their computers and TVs off and sitting out on the lawn with friends.

As soon as AOL deploys on Time Warners cable you are going to see subs go through the roof for ATHM. Why? Because there will be an explosion of content that can only be enjoyed on a high speed connection. The content providers will not be able to resist going after that market. And the best stuff won't come from AOL/Time Warner or from Excite.....it'll come from some startup. I don't think we have that much more waiting left.....although it seems like it has taken FOREVER to get this thing off the ground.
