Re: "Yikes...AMAT did not even meet the consensus eps....they were $.02 short.......s%$#$%*&......tomorrow will make today look a pool party in Jamaica.....dang!!"

Comment: And I was hoping that it was today that was telling us that AMAT wouldn't make the consensus? AMAT (-$6), CSCO (-$4-1/2), INTC (-$10-7/8), TXN (-$12-1/16), MOT (-$18) and AMD (-$4-1/2 as 11,500 just went at $79)...Yep, the first hour might test the mettle of most shareholders(B/A on AMAT now $77, $7-1/2 off its close of $84-1/2) ...(It was more fun when it was going the other way!)

Ted re <<AMAT did not even meet the consensus eps....they were $.02 short..>>

Where do you get that?

AMAT met concenses and more importantly reported a monster order backlog. EPS numbers should be revised upward tomorrow perhaps followed by an upgrade or two. I would not be surprised if SOX rallied tomorrow.

Re <<...I may sell all in premarket!!>>

Don't follow the herd :)
