Chip, thanks for those numbers, what levels would cement
the bear market thesis for You (I realize it would probably
be a combination)

you know the OEX is only was only down 13% from it's high yesterday?

This new work-up shows a slight change and suggests that a Bear Market is not yet in place from the weekly charts, but not far off. It defines a correction.., not a Bear Market Trend.

"M" patterns on all major Index charts have been challenged and failed. The markets would have to rally above the "v" portion of this formation to suggest the correction has been broken. INDU=10,862, OTC=4582, SPX=1480-85

The Nasdaq daily chart shows a classic "W" formation beginning 5/1/00 and a solid break above 4073.16 would set a new upward trend.
