I just bought a new camcorder... Consumer reports reviewed it in October of last year as a good/great buy, they quoted it then as $1000... Saw it in Best Buy for $800... bought it over the internet after searching for 5 minutes for $730 (with no sales tax...).

It's got so many more capabilities than the one I bought 10 years ago, it's not even remotely funny. Every time I tell my wife something it can do (nightvision, replay on my TV by pointing it at the set, 360X digital zoom, 3 inch LCD screen, etc.) she can't believe it. Plus it's 1/3 the size of our old one...

Yup, peanut butter might have gone up, but I have to buy a lot of jars to equal the money/value I just saved/got in that one purchase. I'm about to buy a new TV too for my living room... let's see how much less I pay for that than I did 6 years ago.

However I have to pay freaken $60,000 over sticker to get a 360 Modena, $25,000 over for an m5, or $5,000 over for a lousey Benz. To much money not enough supply = Inflation!
