Rod would have everybody believe he's in possession of a depth of Corel knowledge. I suspect if someone there did some research, they'd find out he's either a disgruntled former employee, or has close ties to one (like a family member). No other coherent reason for his venom, unless he's a disgruntled former suitor of Marlen's.
