Dale, I explored this subject in depth today. There are a couple of points:

1. Yes, the lack of cementing preserves the added formation productivity of the fractures.

2. If the hole caves - no big loss - just have to reenter.

All in all it is an approach designed to maximize the productivity of the formation with the risk being the potential need to reenter the hole.

We shall see.

Dale, Please consider asking SI administration to change the name of this thread to Curlew Lake and The Canadian Ekho Partners. We need to get away from the pure poop on the TRIL threads and establish a mechanism for discussion of facts and disemination of the opportunity that exists in the Canadian partners.

Any other CWQ threadsters support this idea?
