Carl and David, thanks for the discussion on Internet security. This is a topic of some interest to me, since I am considering switching to DSL.

Speaking of which, I'm shopping for a DSL ISP, and was wondering if anyone here has tried Flashcom or Telocity? I am not considering Pac Bell, because the husband of a friend has them and says their server goes down for hours at a time at least once a week.

I was fascinated by the latest quarterly report for Telocity. Although they are available in 85 metropolitan areas, it says that as of March 31st, they only had 4761 paying customers, with losses of 28.9 million. That means they're losing more than $6000 per customer! Sounds like a blue chip to me. <G>
