greg, Congratulations on your new computer. My new Sony pcg f-490 also said it came with an 18.1gig hard drive but when I checked at home by clicking on the "my computer" icon, then putting the cursor over the C: drive icon, low and behold my 18gig was really an 8.99gig. Talk about false advertising. Someone should tell Sony compression doesn't count. Should make them pay me the cost difference between the two drives. Other than that though, it's a great computer.
