I beg to disagree. Diversity is healthy and should be encouraged. In fact, it is beneficial, since it expands the talent pool.
Ordinarily, it is difficult for competent minorities (Black/Hispanic)to find work commensurate with their skills.
Not impossible, just more difficult than it needs to be. A lot of people just cant look beyond skin color.
If a CEO stresses diversity, his/her workers will find it harder to discriminate. However, competence should NOT be sacrificed. That just gives the competent ones a bad image.
