Work Station market data.
Some data on the size of W/S market and Dell's share. (From IDC. (1999).
Last year Dell shipped a total of 11.8 million system's, (PC's W/S's and servers). Of these, 250K units were workstations, ~2%.
You can do your own extrapolation going forward, including RIMM's in W/S's.

Total W/W W/S's for 1999, (Windows and Unix), were 1.6 Million units.

Dave:
Even RMBS management states that RDRAM production in 2000 will be about 100 M pieces. That includes Sony PSII usage. Until management advises that RDRAM production is going up materially, I will live with my assessment of RDRAM pentration in PC's of 3-4% in 2000.
