Are there any lawyers out there who can second Sub-average's notion that judges should be biased?

Am I wrong or na‹ve to believe that judges should be impartial prior to hearing the evidence?

No, Mr. Bates!

I am saying a judge is entitled to his opinion, (you call it bias)that opinion will incline him one way or another.

Justice is blind but not deaf and dumb.

PS - in reality most judges write their judgements based on the briefs that have been filed on the case. When the actual trial, case or motion is heard they have already made up their mind.
