Since some of you have been so help-willing, I thought I would throw out another question:

Now that I have flashed my bios I can get a new CPU. Either a celeron 500 or Pentium III 600.

I understand that the pentium III is faster and better but given the price difference what will I miss if I go with a celeron 500?

Any insight is appreciated.

I basically use my computer for trading (streaming quotes), running Windows 2000, 327 Ram, Office Pro, DSL connection, lots of multi-tasking. Currently I have a Celeron 300 in the beast.

TIA, Olga
