No Karen, I cannot accept that. If we say that a "culture" of people in a specialized job environment become so desensitized to the brutality of their own actions that they think it's "normal" behavior, well, I think you know full well what that can lead to..... When I was an armed guard many years ago, one of my sergeants told me if I ever had to use my weapon, then I had better empty it. Fortunately, I never had to use my firearm, but if I did, I would have done things my own way according to the situation at hand, and not just blindly follow "insane" and unreasonable orders.
