Yes, I realize that.

And yes there are too many kids killed by guns.I would venture to bet that the 12 kids a day figure that clinton came up with, includes gang killings and everything, but guns licensing won't stop that. And registration will not stop one kid from digging a gun out of his parents closet either. Chances are that the mother is not home when the kid does that, and they are a "latchkey" kid. Or a single parent kid , where the mother has to work, because some dip daddy has to "find" himself.

There are also too many kids killed by drunk drivers. WAY too many. the moms should march on gores state of Tennessee, where JD is made I guess.

Where are all the "moms" as thousands of kids are killed coming out of the womb?

I could go on, but you see my point.

Have you sen the new NRA commercial, putting up one million dollars and asking the public to match it to provide gun safety classes to school kids? Very good idea!!

As I said, this march is all political, and I bet clinton is so happy he'll be giggling all day.....

As I am saying all this, I also realize there are many very concerned mothers marching today.... they just don't realize that they are being used.

But that is ok....ol' rosie will straighten them out.....

>If all adults were responsible for their actions, and cared
enough about their children, no child could ever touch a gun.<

Haqihana, I can't agree. Weapons accidents have been with us as long as weapons have. It's possible to construct a scenario in which a responsible, caring adult gives inadvertent access to a firearm, and then manure occurs. We need to mentally allow for such a possibility. Kids get run over by cars all the time, and it isn't always by drunks or idiots. We don't blame the car in that instance.

I'm not disagreeing to argue. But I am extending your observation and I could see it being used by un-gunners like this: "OK, if even one gun kid accident happens, then people are unfit to have guns." I am trying to pre-emptively derail such an argument.
