Paul,

The Thunderbird will debut at 750 MHz to 1 GHz

It seems odd that T-Bird is not any faster than Athlon, given the smaller transistors and copper wires. I wonder what's going on? I've been out of the country all week, so please excuse me if this has already been discussed.

BTW, my parent's house in Los Alamos is OK.

paul ma....re:They also have a table with Duron prices:
550 mhz $107
600 mhz $137
650 mhz $187
700 mhz $241
wow! That should make the ASP well above 100!

Paul

Paul (the other Paul), just don't forget that the ASP should get a big boost, but it won't really be felt till the 3rd quarter. Since AMD isn't announcing till the 5th of June for Duron and T-Bird, the impact won't truly be felt till the 3rd quarter. Thanks for the insight. May have to roll those July calls into October calls now.
