B. - back when I still did stock price predictions, this is the last one I came up with:

debry.com

I'm inviting anyone who is interested in the topic of "Tero!" to read that column and compare the calls I made on Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson and Qualcomm to other predictions made during December 1998. People can draw their own conclusions - and we can get back to Nokia. Because this thread isn't called "Tero!" - it's called Nokia.

A couple of character assassination tips to "marginmike" and "stoxnstix": credibility improves when you put your own name under your insults when discussing people who write using their own names. That's where Randy gets extra points.

It's also vastly more effective if you can hide the insult under a compliment: "Tero has excellent global perspective" and "I think Tero is a QCOM shareholder" in the same post. Full marks to Peter.

You could also learn a trick or two from Clark, who always puts a lot of interesting information to his posts - so a possible attack is hidden in actual, relevant commentary; he also keeps a good check on his temper, so I'm ranking him ahead of Randy.

Or the real champ, Ruffian, who seems goodnatured and jovial; the insult is often hidden inside a reverse compliment: "I really appreciate your spinning skills! <GGG>". This is perhaps the best approach if you can pull off the bonhomie without seeming too cute - Ruff is the man in this highly specialized field. Don't try this angle unless you're sure you can at least fake a similar charisma without looking too obvious; it's harder than you think.

See? Follow a couple of simple rules and you could do a lot better. There are people here you can really learn from.
