I recently got DSL and it's great, but I frequently get an annoying pause just after clicking on a site and the browser says "Connecting to ....". (This is a unique message...not the same as "Finding site...." or "Site found, waiting on reply", which I also see sometimes.) SWBell had me change from Explorer to Netscape but this didn't seem to help. Does anybody know what's happening to cause this pause? I'm wondering if this is a software or hardware issue, i.e. something in SWBell's system not providing an immediate response. Or maybe SWBell feeds back the "Connecting to..." message when it actually means "Finding site...". Anybody?
