The reason I listen to these particular analysts is because I think it gives us some indication as to how institutions will act in the coming weeks. Re interest rates.. yes they reversed direction once before because they overshot on reducting rates... Why? Because rate changes take time to work their way into the economy and they weren't patient. Again, the same appears to be happening and I am concerned that they will overshoot again... if so, are you saying that they won't reverse course again? I disagree... for overshooting in the direction of tightening is far more dangerous. fwiw I agree with Kudlow and have ever since he started coming out against this tightening. Not because of the market so much as when the fed does things like this it seems to always lead to something bad.
