What was Dr. Harari's response to your presentation? Did he smile? frown? Say any words to you?

Gary, that is a great question. Each time I looked over he was smiling. He definitely did not frown. Well, if you think about the NY Times poster there really isn't that much to smile about, but if you understand my intentions for selecting that particular graphic I think you can safely conclude that it was meant both in jest and to underscore the fact that SanDisk was way below the radar screen of many people. Most importantly, in the last twelve months, and principally during the second half of 1999, SanDisk has accomplished a great deal. It is surprising how the hot, new news becomes outdated, how rising stars abruptly fade away, and how suddenly a supernova appears on the horizon. Clik! was essentially D.O.A. and the microdrive has not proved to be the menace that everyone predicted it would be. The jury is still not out on Memory Stick/MagicGate.

At the end of the presentation Dr. Harari shook my hand. He seemed very happy. He said the following...

"Tell the guys on the thread that I really liked the idea about the mouse earphones."

To be honest, I didn't know exactly to what he was referring, but I nodded briskly and told him that I would.
