Tom and I can't stay at odds for long. We wear the same Federal Truck Parts NASCAR shirt to formal events. (I did get one Tom). I too have relaxed and glad to be back to normal.
I have below the URL for money supply for M3 thanks to a poster on this thread. Memory going fast. and I have had much use from it. I shortened up the M3 chart to 1999 to 2000. Keep this in mind when you listen to the economists on CNBC tomorrow and Tuesday. I am sure not many will discuss this money supply being so high.

Tom,

IMO DWA does offer a great bang-for-the-buck service, but you made some good points in your post.

now onto something completely different... is it me or is the DWA's SPX chart messed up? I see that SPX went well above 1410 on Fri (+1430), but the DWA chart is showing only 1410. I wanted to check before sending a msg in.

tx

[edit]
ok, I now see that even tho the date on the chart says 5/12, the chart really is for 5/11.

[edit2]
ok, VIX is wrong too. I think I'll quit looking at DWA charts for now and just watch the NBA finals instead.

Tommy and Tommy D's...

It is great to see that the two of you had ironed out the issues before you. It is a sign of great character, when two individuals can work though issues, shake hands, and go on with business. Most likely as strengthened comrades.

You both have shown great integrity by resolving your issues...

Hats off to you both.

Jane

Jorj and Thread:
Re:To the thread:
Tom and I have had some discussions in PM since last night and I think we have
resolved our misunderstandings. I have apologized to Tom for the harshness of my
criticism as I really do feel that DWA offers a great service. I have asked SI to remove
my earlier message so as to not leave evidence of my hot temper (you know what I
mean).

I wish that you would reconsider.
I read your post and found that I had a similar experience. I also responded in a PM to Tommy Dorsey as I didn't want to post anything negative here. Especially, with everybody saying how great the service was and how great TD is. I don't know TD personally, but the reply I received from him was arrogant and condescending. I will not post it here as it was a PM. However, he stated that it wasn't DWA's purpose to "handhold " and other such phases that made it clear to me that he resented being told anything other than how great everything was. Incidentally, I have never asked or expected anyone to hold my hand I am 100% responsible for my investment decisions.
What is the purpose of this thread? I ask myself that because as you and Jerry mentioned many people buy the book for $50 or sign up at $25 or $35 a month because of the positive comments here. Yes, people are influenced by positive comments here and I am sure that you are correct in assuming that you are responsible for others getting the book or the service. I signed up and bought the book because of it. Therefore, to put only glowing reports here-even when asked by Jan and TD to "get everything out" is dishonest. And is a disservice to readers, new and old as well as to DWA. If DWA thinks everything is fine then how can they improve the service.

There is an "I told you so" attitude. That is a fact. It is so prevalent that many posters are shamed into statements like "well it was just my greed" "I will know next time". Truth is they won't. The bottom line is, personalities aside, DWA is a business, they sell a service. The service is promoted heavily here, as something that can help you make money in the market and keep you out of the big sell offs. Ultimately, this is the acid test. What is being promoted here is that it has worked for 100 years and has worked this time because if you really understand P&F and understood the reports you would have gotten out.
It ain't so. from my experience. And I am saying it!

Ray
