So go and enjoy and smile for all the years that they take from you and give to you. My mother died several years ago; she was also my best friend when I made it to adulthood and I miss her to this day. Although fertile as the fields of Kansas, I do not have children because of...decisions made with my husband (no longer) in mind. I envy you all the nights awake when the little so-and-sos are sick and when they are in their teens and you thought that little children were enough to drive you crazy until this.... You are blessed. Enjoy. And carry laughter with you wherever you go.
