Oh, i'm not disputing that this moral principle has been violated, sure it has ... still, it exists as something of a natural law in the minds of the great majority of us, through self-interest - we don't want our own young stolen or slaughtered, so we forgo the 'right' to steal or slaughter the young of others ... violators are closer to universally abhorred than those of any other crime, and the act of violation by one entity is not considered an excuse for a violation by another ... among any of us with pretensions to civilisation, anyway.
