Ok ... clearly i am being civilisation-centric here ... actually, i see that as a good thing, and sort of The Point ... A neighbour down the road here flew in the Hamburg raid, certainly he killed children ... a friend i'll see later today put in two hitches as a US Marine in Viet Nam, chances are very high that he did as well ... he doesn't talk about it much, but has said a few things, once about the results of napalm on a village. That's war, which by nature is not civilised ... which is why we avoid it whenever possible .... and we're avoiding it right now - we are not at war, at least not between any nation-states in the Americas, anyway ... so there is no justification for acts of war.
