Jim, I am surprised people seem to be giving little heed to the 1/2 point increase today. The cost of money is very, very important, and it is going up, fast. Major money center banks wasted no time in bringing the prime rate up to 9.5% Not sure what the LIBOR is right now, but most businesses borrow at a floating rate tied to one or the other.
