My response to that is the Fed has raised rates already (I think 6 25 BP rises) and while it was okay for the Fed to premptively raise rates its not okay for the Fed to preemptively stop rising rates or lower rates to avoid a hard landing before economic slowing data actually develops. Its exactly this kind of thinking that results in a recession everytime the economists are calling for runaway inflation. The crowd is always wrong just like in timing stocks.
