At best, in terms of clout, she ranks somewhere in the middle among 10 plus analysts covering AMD.

How much clout and reputation does Kumar have? (In the investment community in general I know he has no clout here...)

Yougang re: Klauer

If I remember correctly, Erika was the only analyst to call the 400 Mhz production glitch well before the street caught on. Her report came out around Dec. 20 when the stock was at $32 or so and in the midst of tremendous 4th quarter demand.

At the time, the $32 was around a 52 week high. Most of us longtime holders were sadly surprised on earnings day. I think we earned 0.15 when the street was looking for 0.19 (owing to a bunch of over optimistic upgrades in Dec.including Kumar who reluctantly [intentionally?] went to .21 or so shortly before the announcement) Rememberable as one of the several peaks on the AMD investing rollercoaster prior to the athlon. It wasn't a pleasant ride.

In my opinion she is as well informed as any analyst on the street regarding AMD.
