I'm selling all of my AMD tomorrow at the open and shorting this dog. Might as well load up on a ton of Rambust.

How about you?

Have you seen pauL?

What a maroon.

Make it so,

Jim,

RE:"Here is more bad news for you....."

What was the first bad news?

BTW, what are "hanginondabus" the authors', credentials other than being a RAMBUS shareholder? <G>

Did you write this part? ". Are real dog that requires an EXPENSIVE 8-layer motherboard to work."

I hate to tell you but Irongate motherborads were first 6 layer and later some made 4 layer. This pretty much knocks any credibility.

Jim, I suspect AMD has taken this possibility into account and has a chip set of it's own near to launch? After all any strategic planner should see the chance that Via would look inwards and thus AMD has these planners and so they prepared an excape hatch in their own chipset. When will it be ready? beats me, but I bet it is underway. AMD is quite capable of making such a chipset as they are far less complex than CPUs.

Bill
