Dave, thanks for the data. I agree that the 60% share of desktop's as OptiPlex is probably the result of large sales to corporations and governments.
If that ratio carries through 2000 it has some interesting implications on ASP.
The OptiPlex platforms cover the range from value to performance, 810/440BX/820. (I assume the BX will convert to 815 over time).
Sure wish DELL didn't have a weird fiscal calendar, it would be easy to calculate ASP's if they were on a calendar quarter. <g>
Assuming the ASP of OptiPlex approaches $1000 as the unit/revenue forecasts seem to indicate, what do you see as the OptiPlex platform mix?
