I use Windows 95 and IE5. I notice there is two folders in the Windows directory,...one called "Temp", and the other called "Temporary Internet Files". When I purge the cache using //Control panel//Internet options/delete temporary internet files,...the Windows files called "Temp" and "Temporary Internet Files" have many files still in their contents. Most remaining files in the "Temporary Internet Files" are cookies, and something called favicon.ico files. The "Temp" folder has tonnes of files with .TMP, but most are less than 0 KB in size.

Can I erase these without ramifications? Got any idea why they are there,...there certainly is a lot of them, especially the "Temp" ones,...they go right back to the day I first got this computer, two years ago.
