Tero,

<< my deep affection towards many American companies; Texas Instruments, Hewlett Packard, Voicestream, Powertel >>

Powertel?

Would you care to share your reasons for including them in your list?

Since Powertel launched PCS service in October 1996 they have achieved a respectable 2.7% penetration (postpaid & prepaid) of the 24 million pops they cover in a 12 state region. They seem to have competent management but don't appear to be the most innovative of the GSM carriers. I have been of the opinion that their primary asset is their spectrum and their potential lies in the possibility of merger or acquisition, but perhaps I am missing something, and would be interested in your take.
