<What he said was that it was some of the same complaints about CNBC that have been raised on this board that caused Bill Fleckenstein to stop volunteering his views on that network.>

Could you be more specific? The views of SOME on this board have been that CNBC is THE cause of all their financial woes and acts inappropriately at times...does this mean that Bill feels the same and therefore told CNBC to kiss off?? Somewhat confusing in light of the fact that some on this board also accused CNBC of too much negative reporting and taking pleasure in the downside of the mkts, which is EXACTLY what Bill would have hoped for...again, I am confused.

<It was indeed his decision.>

Again, could you be more specific. I had always thought that Bill got the axe based on either a) his schtick getting rather borish and meaningless in the face of a (then) raging mkt or b) CNBC taking a poll of their viewers and found them less than thrilled with his appearances.

Again, I am finding it hard to believe that Bill F. dumped THE financial info network based on his deep beliefs of something many of us are not aware of, but please enlighten me. Kinda like some no-name rock band flipping the bird to MTV based on the band's deeply held principles.
