And I haven't GTFOed yet, but will in the AM on those QQQ puts.

You sure? <g> Good call! Here's another trick. OEX options open up as soon as (I think this # is right) 80% of the underlying stocks open for trade. So if within the remaining 20% is, say, HWP, one can at minimum scalp some OEX puts by buying as close to the open as possible and just waiting for HWP to open up and drive the indices down further. But today may be a day to buy some OEX puts at the open and just hold them for awhile. Just as I thought it would be yesterday when I said we'd rally into options expiry <g>.

Poet,
Nice call on the QQQ puts (if this downtick holds). I went short yesterday afternoon on ELON and SDLI believing the ramp was exhausting itself (I am by nature an optimist, but that has cost me greatly in this market - lately my best trades have been to the short side - never thought I would do this, but you have to learn to go both ways....). This dip may merely be a headfake to get the big boys (and girls) in at better prices, but I'll take a scalp where I can get it. Good luck.

Poet,
Bailed early on the ELON and SDLI shorts. Had to wake up the MM to take my sell order on SDLI. These thinly traded options are nerve-wracking!!
