SDLI is wonderful, but I am really stumped by the current valuation distortion vs. JDSU.

A review of the numbers shows the jdsu is clearly growing faster, yet selling at a multiple of about 1/4 less than SDLI. Amazingly, JDSU's internal growth rate exceeds SDLI's overall rate. I am assuming, and it is just a wag, that the etek merger is the over hang keeping jdsu's peg lower than some of its peers.

I don't want any of this to come off as a criticism of sdli. I won't be surprised for it to be one of the best performing stocks over the next 5 years. But I guess I'd pick jdsu over sdli at this moment.

I don't know that I would compare SCMR to either sdli or jdsu.
